So we arrived in Fairbanks on Wednesday and we spent the evening with my parents eating Thai Food!! The next day we headed over to Affordable Used Cars and took the Yukon XL out for a test drive and we liked it so we decided to talk it over and get a mechanic to check it over. After that we had to check and make sure we could get financed which took forever but it worked in the end.... even though we have to have a 12% interest rate on our loan because of our credit score and the age of the car. Later on we can try to refinance and get a lower interest rate so thats good. So anyway after we got our loan we went over to Affordable and signed all the paperwork, so now we own a 2002 Yukon XL.
It's amazing how much space we have now for Moose and all of our crap!!
Anyway I'm sitting here blogging instead of doing my homework so I should probably go and get it done so I don't fail all of my classes!
